Shifter Cable Broke

The shifter cable on my bike broke, so I had to pedal into the wind, uphill, and in high gear.  I had to get off and walk in some places.  I still got 22 miles in today. I had planned to go 30, but I couldn't do it without my low gears.  The bike shop is closed today too.
