19 degree

I rode 22.57 miles in windy cold (19 degree) weather last sunday.  It makes me happy.  My toes ached a little, but other than that it was a great ride.

Fitness Level up a Notch

I have been basement spinning all week, and I think my fitness level went up a notch or two as a result!

Basement Spinning

It is getting cold outside, so now I am now spinning in my basement. It is a very good workout and it makes me sweat a lot! I feel so good after a fast spin.  I am trying to do some kettle-bell training too, but it hurts my back.  I watch spinning videos on you-tube and this helps time go by. My goal is to do it every day this winter.

Beautiful day  for a bike ride. I got 20 miles in today. I like my new camera.

Bought a new bike.

I went to the bike shop, and they had a Giant Escape for only 350 dollars! I had to buy it.  I tested it out, and the results are positive.  I think I am going to enjoy this bike a lot!  A great bike for the money!

Towing a trailer

I used my bike trailer to take some food to Mom's birthday party.  She had a good time, and I got to meet her friends.  she has a lot of friends.

I did some rain riding yesterday on the  way home from Church. It was refreshing but the thunder did startle me a little.

Spring Snow Ride

It was 20 degrees and snow on the ground, but I got my bike out and rode to church.  22 miles. My rear wheel spun out on Branner bridge because it was iced up.  So I walked over it. There was a lot of ice (very slick), so I had to be very careful. The birds were singing and it was a beautiful ride with the snow on the trees.

12 DEGREES, 24 MILE BIKE RIDE

12 degrees this morning when I left the house for church. I rode 24 miles today. This was the coldest weather I ever rode in, but it was a good ride. I kept a close eye out for ice. My toes got a little cold, but otherwise I was OK.  I asked a friend at church to take my picture, but he cut my head off.  At least I got a nice picture of my bike!
